Daniel Bwala, an aide to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has expressed his joy with the victory of Dino Melaye at the party’s gubernatorial primary election in Kogi State.
Bellnewsonline.com reports that Melaye, a former senator of Kogi West Senatorial district, on Sunday won the PDP Governorship primary for the November 14, 2023 Governorship election in Kogi State.
Reacting, Bwala said in a video posted on his verified Twitter handle on Sunday night: “Dino, congratulations for your victory in this primaries [sic], and also for defeating Nyesom Wike and stopping his spread of imperialism in our party.
“I am happy for you and many people today who had rights, but their rights were trampled upon by bullies.
“Sometimes in life, bullies hate it when you stand up to them. That is exactly what happened.
“When Dino’s name was called by a governor outside of his zone, saying Dino was not eligible, qualified to be a governor. Dino challenged him. He never said a word after then. And that’s what led to Dino’s victory. And I celebrate Dino today.
“May God give you the wisdom to win this election as the next governor so that we can right the wrongs.
“Your victory sweetens my stomach because bullies are being stopped, and we must stop the spread of imperialism in our party.”
