Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has issued a scathing rebuke of U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him not to plunge the world into a catastrophic conflict amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran.

In a strongly worded statement on Tuesday, Fani-Kayode condemned Trump’s recent rhetoric regarding the Middle East crisis, accusing him of being reckless and “manipulated by Israeli interests and neoconservative hawks in Washington.”

“You are a disaster,” Fani-Kayode wrote. “You have betrayed your mission and calling. You are not a true believer but a fake. True believers do not support mass murder, genocide or oppression of the weak.”

The former minister warned Trump against any suggestion of targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader or deploying American troops to Iranian soil, describing such actions as provocations that could ignite a global war.

“Kill the Supreme Leader of Iran if you dare and after that, if it pleases you, send in your Marines to occupy his country. It will signal the beginning of the end of the American empire,” he declared.

Fani-Kayode admitted he once admired Trump but expressed deep disappointment at what he described as the president’s descent into vanity and hubris.

“All I see in you is vanity and an Icarus-like hubris which will lead to your nemesis. For once, let Israel fight her own battles,” he added, calling on Trump to heed the voices of reason within his conservative base.

A longstanding critic of Israel’s military operations in Gaza, Fani-Kayode has repeatedly denounced the Israeli government’s conduct, accusing it of ethnic cleansing and war crimes under the guise of national security.

He decried the high civilian toll, including women and children, caused by airstrikes and forced displacements, and urged Western powers to stop enabling what he calls “a brutal occupation.”

According to him, the world must begin holding Israel accountable under international humanitarian law.

“I am sorry Mr. President but respect begets respect. Must you always humiliate and taunt your perceived enemies in this way? Have you no self-restraint, decency or decorum? This is madness.

“First it was your insensitive words about taking over #Gaza and turning it into an American Riviera, then it was your wild and baseless tirade against South African blacks and attack on the South African President in the White House claiming that white people were being subjected to genocide in his country and now this! You have lost your mind.

“Kill the Supreme Leader of Iran if you dare and after that, if it pleases you, send in your Marines to occupy his country. It will signal the beginning of the end of the American empire which would actually be a great thing.

“I had so much respect and affection for you but to think that a genocidal maniac, child-killer and psychopathic leader of a death cult like Bibi Netanyahu and the war-mongering neocons in your midst could manipulate and mislead you into dragging your great country into yet another military conflict and possibly spark off WW3 is such a shame.

“You promised the world peace but instead you have brought nothing but empty promises, lies, threats, dashed hopes, shattered dreams, conflicts, division, strife, war and destruction.

“Your imminent attack on Iran, in the name of saving Israel, will set the Middle East on fire, prepare the stage for WW3, divide your country, split your #MAGA movement and ultimately lead to the destruction of America.

“You are a disaster! Worse still you have betrayed your mission and calling. You are not a true Believer but a fake because true Believers do not support mass murder, genocide, ethnic cleansing, crimes against humanity, war crimes, regime change, injustice, the slaughter of women and children, the suppression of the oppressed, the oppression of the weak or any other manner of evil.

“Such a pity! All I see in you is vanity and an Icarus-like hubris which will of course lead to your nemesis.

“My advice to you: listen to some of the saner and more cerebal conservative voices around you and in your country like @TuckerCarlson, @RealAlexJones, @RealScottRitter, @RealCandaceO and Steve Bannon and do NOT fall into the trap of going to war with Iran. For once let Israel fight her own battles!”

Fani-Kayode’s comments come as tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv escalate dangerously. Following Israel’s coordinated airstrikes on Iranian military and nuclear installations, Iran retaliated with missile and drone attacks that breached Israeli defenses and caused casualties in multiple cities.

While the United States has reaffirmed its alliance with Israel, Trump’s latest public comments advocating “unconditional pressure” on Iran have sparked backlash and heightened fears of a broader regional conflict.
