A member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP/Obidient Movement, Dickson Iroegbu, has said that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, now thinks he is bigger than President Bola Tinubu.
Iroegbu said this on Friday in an interview on ‘Prime Time’, a programme on Arise Television monitored by Bellnews.
He said that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, gave Wike the platform to destroy the PDP, adding that he is now trying to scuttle Nigeria’s democracy.
“The truth of the matter is that APC, through the enabling of the president gave Wike the platform with which he has used now to almost attempting to scuttle democracy in Nigeria.
“They positioned him to wreck, undermine and possibly annihilate the PDP. And having almost succeeded in that, he now thinks himself bigger than the President.
“Because if you listened to the meetings he had with some of his supporters in Rivers state and all of that, you would hear him say nobody (he didn’t exempt anybody) can decide what happens in the state.
“Wike has become larger than life as created by the Tinubu’s administration and we hope that this their fight continues so that Nigerians can now take back their country,” he said.
