The vice presidential candidate of the Labor Party, LP, Dati baba Ahmed, has revealed the reasons why he parted ways with President Muhammadu Buhari. Baba-Ahmed and Buhari were members of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).
In 2011, he was elected to represent the defunct North Kaduna Senatorial District. However, the businessman and politician said he parted ways with Buhari over a change in ideology. He disclosed that Buhari had lost his principles and attitude, hence parted ways with the President. “President Buhari has over time lost his principles and attitude, and this situation makes it difficult for allies like me to adhere to his political philosophy and philosophy,” Dati said in a speech in Kano.
Baba datti -Ahmed said the party was making steady progress in the north. He promised to work to ensure that the voters voted for the LP in 2023.
