Peter Obi’s running mate, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed has expressed his confidence ahead of the forthcoming presidential election. He believes that the Labour Party will take power from the ruling All Progressives Congress come 2023.
He expressed his confidence in the election on twitter today, Tuesday July 12, 2022.
In his tweet, the Vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party said that Peter Obi will create a Nigeria that works for everyone, not just for one group of people.
He said that Peter Obi is already uniting Nigeria with his choices. He claimed that a better Nigeria is only possible under their administration.
Speaking further, Datti said that anybody who earns legitimate income in Nigeria is by default a member of the Labour Party. He added that they belong to Nigeria, and Nigeria belongs to them as well.
He however said that what is going to hit the ruling All Progressives Congress come 2023 will be worse than what happened in 2015.
Datti further said that the Labour Party is like a train, but not like the Abuja-Kaduna train.
According to him, it is hard to blow up the train (Labour Party) which he said all Nigerians are contained in. He added that they are blurring all demarcations.
