The former governorship aspirant in the major opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Chief David Briggs has revealed reasons why the former governor of Anambra State and the presidential candidate of the Labor Party (LP), Peter Obi would not emerged victorious in the 2023 presidential election.
Chief David Briggs said that one of the key factors that would hindered Peter Obi’s candidacy in the 2023 polls, was his lack popularity in the Northern geopolitical zones. He said the Northern region is not yet fertile for Obi’s candidacy and Labor Party.
He argued that what Peter Obi claimed he achieved in Anambra State as a Governor was the same feat he achieved as a Local Government Chairman in Rivers State. He commended the bravery of Peter Obi but advised the Nigerian youths not to be in a hurry to joined the league of those promoting Obi’s candidacy for 2023 presidential election, because it would be a waste of time and resource.
