Echezona Anazodo the Mayor Nnewi North LGA
Ikedoji narrated to bellnewsonline.com how he work up to his friend and predecessor Hon. Amara Anazodo and sold to him the idea of becoming the TC Chairman Nnewi North, as the Honourable Member Representing Nnewi North says he will no longer confirm the nomination of Engr. Chris Obiora since he is still in court with his brother Omekannaya.
According to the Honourable Member Representing Nnewi North Constituency, “i sold the idea to the Speaker and started persuading Mr. Governor until one day Hon. Amara Anazodo invited me to his House and told me he will not be able to confront the stress of Nnewi North, but however, whatever I wish to do for him i should do so to his “boy” then the Secretary General Nzuko Ora Nnewi. We reached an agreement and any other thing is a smoke screen.
A day before I step Chris Obiora down, one of my good friends Chief Anayo Nwosu (Ojiakonobi Nnewi) called me and pleaded with me to allow Chris go for another three months , before the replacement and Chris Obiora was added on the phone and the rest is history.
It was during the last three months that Attorney General got the order that directed us to conduct local government election and we sold the smoke screen to Oga who resumed his usual blind fight and Hon Echezona Anazodo emerged, if not his actual candidate was Barr. Chinedu Adili Ubah”
Ikedoji added that no need coming to blackmail him that Hon Echezona Anazodo was given him anything. Its an agreement.
