The member Representing Nnewi North Constituency and the Chairman House Committee on Youth Development and Sports wept over the news of the fire outbreak today in Ngobros Diapers factory today Wednesday, 26th November, 2025.
When this news got to me , i was already in Owerri for the 14th Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Memorial Lecture and my heart was wounded and broken and dropping blood.
This is the most touching of all fire outbreaks in Nnewi, because of the person affected and about hundred constituents who are gainfully employed that their means of livelihood has been destroyed.
I deeply empathize with the Chairman Chief Humphrey Ngonadi and his family; especially, the former Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Commerce ; Dr. Obinna Ngonadi , may God whom the family serve so well console them deeply and may the Love of Christ continue to urge them on.

This is a clarion call on the Ministry of Public Utility to review the fire service response capacity in Nnewi and other industrilized areas of Anambra State.
Nnewi is seriously injured by this singular fire outbreak.
