Lawmaker representing Virginia’s Second District in the United States Congress, Rep Riley M. Moore has said that the US will not back down in protecting Nigerian Christians.

The lawmaker made the remark in an interview with Newsmax while reacting to a recent threat by the ISIS terrorists, who asked Christians to choose between death or Islam.

In the interview, Moore said the United States under the directive of President Donald Trump would continue to support Nigeria with necessary war equipment.

“ISIS recently issued a statement saying Christians of Nigeria must either convert or die.

“We will never back down from supporting our brothers and sisters in Christ, and I’m glad to see the Nigerian government is working in coordination and cooperation with President Trump to defeat these radical Islamic terrorists”, he said.

Recall that the US military on Christmas night bombed terrorists hideouts in Sokoto State with about 12 Tomahawk missiles.
