An overhead bridge at the Enugu New Artisan Market in the suburb of the Enugu State metropolis has collapsed.
The incident occurred on Monday morning.
Bellnews learnt that some trucks on the bridge at the time it collapsed were trapped following the failure.
Although details of the incident were still sketchy, an eyewitness told bellnews that a truck conveying Nigerian Breweries products and a lorry were on the bridge when the incident occurred.
No life has been reported lost in the unfortunate incident as the emergency responders are said to have been deployed to the site.
