The Chairman of Nnewi North Chapter of the All Progressive Grand Alliance Rotarian Tony Muodielu, aka Tony Class, has offered his Congratulatory Message to the National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Chief Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa on his recent victory at the supreme court over the leadership tussle of the Party. In his words:
“It did not come as a surprise to me, because I knew it was going to be, as I’ve been following the trend for a long time. We have been in this kind of situation before and at the end of the day we emerged victorious.
It has been the trademark of Chief Edozien Njoku and his cohorts to constitute a nuisance every now and then. I’m happy that at the end of the day, the supreme court was able to affirm the authenticity of our dear National Chairman, Chief Barr.Sly Ezeokenwa. This is a welcome development.”
Asked to assess the tenure of The Governor so far, Tony Class offered:
“Assessing Governor Soludo is like assessing the man that came first in a class. Among the Governors in Nigeria, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo is Top Notch.”
On the forthcoming Gubernatorial Election, he said:
“If I say I have not seen any Opponent to Governor Soludo,I won’t be making a mistake. You don’t change a winning Team. In a football match, when your Team is winning overwhelmingly, you don’t need to change the Team. I don’t see any serious person rising up to say he wants to contest against Soludo.
In fact, the election is done and dusted.” He is full of praises for the newly elected Chairman of the North LGA,Hon. Echezona Anazodo. According to him,”
the Chairman actually hit the ground running and since his assumption of office, he has made it a point of duty to fill all the potholes in Nnewi and clear all the culverts and drainages””.
He also stated that the Chairman has equally put on a very robust Security System to deal with every security issue in the LGA. And that the Chairman is making frantic efforts to attract Investors to the LGA. Saying that he has been traveling to places like Abuja to discuss with critical Stakeholders.
While consoling the family of the late Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah and the entire Nnewi Community over the demise of the Senator, he prayed that the vacuum left should be filled by a competent person. He stated thus:”
His death has thrown up a vacuum and the Senate has declared his seat vacant. So, we are still waiting for INEC Guidelines. A lot of people are coming out and I encourage them to do so. APGA is also preparing and coming out. In a few months, the election would be conducted and we will take back our seat. The seat originally belongs to us. Yes, because Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is a product of APGA. He was an APGA–YPP. But he originally belonged to APGA.””
