Nollywood actress, Uche Montana, has reacted to the allegation of Senator Ned Nwoko over her involvement in supplying drugs to his estranged wife, Regina Daniels.
Bellnews recalls that Ned, in a statement on Sunday, publicly claimed that Regina’s colleagues, including Uche Montana and Sonia, repeatedly disobeyed his instructions regarding the thespian’s rehabilitation.
According to him, instead of supporting Regina Daniels’ rehabilitation process, they would come to their house uninvited, sometimes forcing their way in, and bringing the same drugs the movie star was being treated for.
Part of Ned’s statement read, “Unfortunately, Sammy, Destiny, some of their siblings, together with a few of their friends, notably, Sonia, Uche Montana, among others, constantly defied those instructions.”
In response, Uche Montana, who had faced criticism over the allegations levelled against her, posted on Instagram on Monday, saying she initially planned to remain silent but felt it was essential to clear the air to protect her peace.
She wrote, “I wasn’t going to say anything, but I feel it’s important to clear the air. My attention has been drawn to a circulating post that appears to link my name to certain claims.
“For clarity, I have no involvement or connection to the situation described. This note is simply to set the record straight and protect my peace.”
