Foremost Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo Igboho has sent words to the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is currently standing trial over alleged incitement of the public against the Nigerian Government, operation of unlawful society and illegal possession of arms.
Sunday Igboho though not in custody of the Beninese authority, is also standing trial for illegal entry to the country as well as for alleged forgery of Beninese travel- documents.
Sunday Igboho through his Twitter handle, accused the Igbo elites of being complicit to Nnamdi Kanu’s continual detention.
He however expressed hope over out of sight victory for the Biafra nation agitator.
“I think of my friend in this struggle- @MaziNnamdiKanu and his ordeals in the hands of our enemies.
His continued detention is as a result of the duplicity & complicity of the Igbo elites. But one thing is sure; a day of reckoning is coming!” He tweeted.
