A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has described the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a conglomeration of politicians.
Bellnews reports that Galadima, in an interview on ARISE Television’s Prime Time on Monday, expressed regret that selfish interests have prevented a united front to unseat the present administration of President Bola Tinubu.
According to Galadima, the opposition coalition leaders are aware of which combinations could win the 2027 election.
He said, “ADC is a conglomeration of politicians. I could have wished all of us to come together to unseat the present government, but because of selfishness.
“All of them know who and who can be combined to win the election, but are we ready to do that?”
Speaking about the recent meeting between former President Goodluck Jonathan and the Labour Party (LP) 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, the NNPP chieftain noted that they should agree on a candidate to contest against Tinubu.
Galadima emphasised that Peter Obi and Jonathan are a political strategy to eradicate the current hardship in the country.
He said, “If they (Jonathan and Obi) can come together and bring one person, you can see the whole country will fall in line because it is a political strategy to get us out of this hardship.”
