Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has called on the government to draw lessons from the recent explosion in Ibadan and take proactive measures to avert the recurrence of such incidents affecting citizens.
Expressing his concerns about the Ibadan explosion, Primate Ayodele emphasized the importance of the government implementing measures to prevent fire explosions, gas leakages, and other unexpected emergencies in the country.
Highlighting the spiritual insights he received, Primate Ayodele urged the government to work diligently in preventing further explosions and addressing security challenges.
“There are spiritual revelations that the government must take into consideration to prevent additional explosions and enhance overall security. Measures should be put in place against banditry, herdsmen attacks, and armed robberies to ensure lasting peace,” he stated.
In addition to security concerns, Primate Ayodele stressed the economic aspects, urging the government to adopt strategies to curtail borrowing and control inflation.
“The government needs to take substantial economic steps to curtail borrowing and manage inflation effectively. This will help prevent worker agitations for increased salaries, which could contribute to tribulations,” the cleric emphasized.
Primate Ayodele concluded by emphasizing the urgent need for the government to address the challenges of insecurity and hardships that the people are anticipated to face in 2024, urging a comprehensive effort to ensure the well-being of the citizens.
