The Nigerian Police Command has issued a security alert following the arrest of two alleged ritualists, Saheed and James, nabbed in a local hotel where they had taken refuge. The arrest, which transpired around 9:30 p.m., exposed a gruesome operation involving the slaughter of more than 70 women. Shockingly, the culprits confessed to selling the victims’ body parts to a certain Adefe Sadiq at a staggering sum of N600,000.
During interrogation, the perpetrators unveiled chilling details about their modus operandi, revealing that luring girls was disturbingly easy, often enticing them with money and extravagant gifts. The duo admitted to employing tactics such as renting fancy cars and offering cash to attract their victims, exploiting the vulnerability of young girls who were easily swayed by material possessions. In a disturbing revelation, the criminals disclosed that married women were even easier targets due to their preference for secrecy.
Furthermore, the suspects admitted that individuals close to the victims, such as friends, neighbors, or cousins, often provided crucial details that facilitated the heinous crimes. They elaborated on their sinister methods, recounting a tragic incident where a woman ran away from her husband. Exploiting her vulnerability, they offered excessive attention, leading her to invite Sadiq into her life as a boyfriend. This scheme culminated in the brutal killing of the woman and her 4-year-old child, whom she had taken from school.
The confession continued, revealing that victims were often promised a night of fun in a hotel room, only to meet a horrifying fate as they were slaughtered.
In response to these disturbing revelations, the Commissioner of Police has urgently advised the public to share this information with all female friends, sisters, and colleagues. The warning emphasizes the need for heightened vigilance and caution, urging women to be wary of luring tactics involving money, gifts, and fancy items, and to prioritize their safety in all circumstances.
Authorities are intensifying efforts to apprehend any additional suspects involved in these heinous crimes and to safeguard the community from further threats.
