Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate for the Labour Party is currently in Anambra to campaign ahead of the November governorship election in the state.
Obi is in Anambra to join George Moghalu, the Labour Party’s governorship candidate for the Anambra election.
Speaking to supporters during the campaign Obi confirmed that he would also be running for the office of the president.
Obi, who spoke in Igbo language also told his supporters that he is the most competent of all politicians who intend to contest for president.
He also told his supporters that contrary to insinuations of dumping the party that he is still a member of the Labour Party.
“Others have a right to run for office. I have not asked anyone not to run for office, but if anyone asks you, tell them I am running for office, and I am the most competent amongst all,” Obi said.
