After the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential election last week, a presidential election delegate of the aforementioned party has graced his Kaduna state less privileged people of Sanga Local Government Area with 12 million Naira and other items he got from the party’s presidential primaries.
The man identified as Tanko Sabo told Bellnews that he is not afraid of what EFCC might do to him because he has satisfied his conscience by giving back to his people and making them happy.
He went further to say that his kind gesture to his people was a result of the promise he made to them if he was elected as a delegate.
However, he did not disclose the names of the aspirants he received the money from but did tell Bellnews that they are many.
Also, he did not mention the name 9f the aspirant he voted for before saying that he paid 6.9 million Naira for WAEC and NECO fees for 150 orphans, and gave 100,000 Naira as logistics to a 5-man committee set up to go around the schools and pay the examination fees.
He then told BELLNEWS that 12 million Naira was used to buy 42 customised Jerseys to encourage youths to engage in sports in his area.
