Rochas Okorocha, former governor of Imo State, along with his supporters from the ‘Rescue Mission Political Family,’ have declared their commitment to pray, support, and actively work for President Bola Tinubu’s success in office. The resolution also extends their support to the incumbent governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma.
The decisions were communicated in a statement released by Sam Onwuemeodo on behalf of the Rescue Mission Political Family. The meeting, presided over by Okorocha at his Owerri residence, included notable figures like Uche Nwosu, the deputy leader of the group.
The statement affirms, “It was resolved that the Rescue Mission Political Family would continue to pray, support, and work assiduously for the success of Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) government at the centre, which he superintends.”
Furthermore, the declaration states that the Rescue Mission Political Family unanimously commits to supporting Governor Uzodimma and the APC-led government in Imo State. The group also pledges to exert efforts towards the growth and progress of the APC across all levels.
