A section of Nkwo Nnewi Motor Spare parts in the early hours of Tuesday, 14th January, 2025 was razed down by inferno from yet to be established source.
Reacting to this, Member Representing Nnewi North Constituency expressed his sadness in tears to the correspondent of Bellnewsonline.com. In his statement he stated that
“This is already a difficult time for most traders and the news of the fire outbreak is so sad because a lot of families will be rendered homeless and some will have to start from zero”.
However, Hon. Augustine Onyekachukwu Ike-Ikedoji KSJI assured ndi Nnewi that investigation is already ongoing to ascertain the cause of the fire outbreak.
He recalled that same manner around 10.30pm on July 27th 2024 he was called that Orie Agbo is on fire and he struggled to get the men of fire service to the scene. He condemn the attitude and level of alertness of men of public utility and assure ndi Nnewi that Anambra State Government will take proactive measures to ensure nothing of such happens in Nnewi again.
He rounded up by calling for calm as his office will reach out to the affected victims in no distant time.
