Newly married celebrity couple, Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala, and Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux, are expecting their first child together.
Bellnews reports that the couple shared the news with fans in an Instagram post on Thursday night, showing Priscilla proudly displaying her baby bump with the scan result.
Priscilla and Juma got married in April 2025 in a lavish ceremony attended by family, friends, and celebrities from both Nigeria and Tanzania.
Meanwhile, Juma Jux recently opened up about the difficulty he faced in convincing his wife, Priscilla, to convert to Islam before their star-studded wedding.
Bellnews reports that Juma, in an interview with Afrikmedia, reflected on the challenges of supporting Priscilla through a significant religious transformation, crediting his success to the patience and support from Islamic scholars and mentors.
He emphasised the importance of a gentle approach, noting that he was advised to engage Priscilla in thoughtful discussions about Islam rather than rushing her into conversion.
According to Juma Jux, it took time and effort to help Priscilla understand and accept the Islamic religion.
He said, “I knew everything when it came to my wedding. I had dreamt about it and I was so lucky to find someone who also wanted the same thing as me.
“It was a little bit difficult convincing her, but I was receiving lessons from religious leaders and people who are keen about Islam. So they told me that there was a way that I could convince my wife to join the religion.”
