As Local Government election draws near, one of the aspirants in Idemili South Local Government under the umbrella of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Hon.Augustine Ejibendu has vowed to leverage innovation and purposeful leadership to elevate his Local Government.
While addressing some Journalists, Ejibendu assured his party a unique style of leadership rooted in transperacy accountability and respect for human dignity, adding that infrastructural development and youth empowerment would be his first priority.
Hon. Augustine Ejibendu, a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Anambra State University, who had served as a councillor in his local government and also served in many other political appointments as political appointee, and currently the Local Government youth leader Idemili South has demonstrated undiluted dedication and competency in all these leadership positions held and would be prepared to do more for the people of Idemili South.
Igada Oba’s vision for the people of Idemili South is rooted in innovation, accountability and sustainability.
“If I am privileged to win the primary, my first task will be on infrastructural development and youth empowerment to maintain adequate security in Idemili South.
He vowed to ensure that public funds are strictly used for community development, adding that every naira spent will be accounted for.
“My coming as the next Mayor of Idemili South will open opportunities for both women and youths. I will provide visionary and inclusive governance that will help in wealth creation, agricultural, rural and human capital development” he declared.
