The Katsina State Government has announced the safety of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda following a road accident on Sunday evening along the Daura–Katsina Road.
Confirming the incident, the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, described the crash as “minor” and assured that the governor was in stable condition.
“Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda was involved in a minor road accident this evening along the Daura–Katsina Road while carrying out his official duties in service to the people of Katsina State,” he said.
Among those who confirmed his discharge was Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to the late President Muhammadu Buhari, who quoted the Katsina Local Government Chairman on X.
“The Governor has been discharged from the hospital, as confirmed by Katsina LGA Chairman.”
