As Nigerians elect their new leader today, political thugs have invaded a polling unit at Agboola Obisanya Junction, Mafoluku area of Lagos State.
Bellnewsonline.com reports that the thugs fired gunshots and destroyed every official paperwork of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
They also chased away voters from polling units in the community.

“I saw people running. Many are now scared of coming out to go for accreditation and voting,” Adeojo said.
The Lagos State police command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin, did not respond to calls and text messages seeking comments on the incident as of the time of publishing this report.
