JUST IN: EFCC announces public auction of forfeited vehicles

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a public notice regarding the e-auction of vehicles subject to final forfeiture orders.

In a tweet from its official handle, @officialEFCC, the commission stated that the auction would be conducted through appointed auctioneers.

The anti-graft body further stated that the initiative is in line with the EFCC (Establishment) Act, 2004, the Public Procurement Act, 2007, and the Proceeds of Crime (Recovery & Management) Act, 2022.

The commission encouraged the public to stay informed about the process and comply with relevant regulations during the e-auction.
