Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo hosted a grand homecoming celebration in Lagos to welcome her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, and their newborn son, Rakeem, back to Nigeria.
The family’s arrival was met with traditional drummers, singers and dancers who filled the air with music and excitement.
In a video shared on Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram page on Tuesday, captioned “Welcome to Nigeria #rakeem_mk”, friends and family gathered to join the festivities, including entrepreneur and Priscilla’s godmother, Chioma Ikokwu, better known as Chioma GoodHair.
The family’s return followed an elaborate 40-day celebration and naming ceremony for baby Rakeem earlier this month in Tanzania.
Priscilla also took to her Instagram Story to share snippets from their journey from Tanzania to Nigeria, expressing gratitude to her mother and godmother.
“Rakeem is lucky. Thank you Glamma and Godmother #iyaboojofespris and #chiomagoodhair”, she wrote.
Bellnews reports that Priscilla welcomed her baby boy in Canada on August 24, 2025, before returning to Tanzania, where Juma hosted a grand reception in their honour.
The Lagos celebration marks baby Rakeem’s first visit to Nigeria.
