Many Nigerians have reacted to the activities of the IPOB in recent times. The governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, is not left out, as he recently reacted to the activities group in the southeast.
According to him, he said, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) should not be welcomed in the Southeast due to their negative activities.
The governor made the statement while some members of the Nigeria Guild of Editors and other prominent individuals in Abakaliki at the weekend.
He claimed that the agitation by Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is not healthy for the Eastern region. He said, he had earlier talked about the activities of the group while he was still a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He claimed that the group has succeeded in deceiving the Igbos that the southeast zone is full of strangers, alleging that they also engage in hate speech.
Governor David Umahi is currently one of the presidential aspirants under the All Progressive Congress(APC).
