An Indigene of Ngo– Igboukwu, Aguata LGA of Anambra State, has painfully cried out to the Executive Governor of Anambra State,His Excellency Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo to come to his rescue. Speaking from his hideout, Mr. Ositadinma Agumuoka a native of Ngo–Igboukwu narrated how some people are going under the guise of Masquerades to terrorise innocent citizens of the town.
Mr. Agumuoka stated that some days ago, some people invaded his house in the guise of Masquerades to unleash terror on his family and vandalize his properties including his car, doors leading to his house and all the properties in his wife’s Restaurant.
He said they came brandishing all sorts of dangerous weapons with the intention to kill him, but was fortunate not to be at home. He said that these people who came pretending to be masquerades now tied palm fronds which is a symbol of an evil omen around his house without telling him what his offenses are.
When his wife called to inform him of the happening in his house, he immediately ran down to the Deputy President General’s house to complain and despite the Deputy PG’s appeal to them,they kept on destroying his properties.
Mr. Agumuoka lamented that Igboukwu Masquerades are getting out of hand and called on relevant Authorities to rise up to his rescue before they succeed in their devilish assignment of eliminating him.
