The wave making Holy Ghost New Life International Church, located at No. 45Ezemewi Rd, Orie Agbor Abubor Nnewichi By Ibeto Junction Near Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Anambra State, was thrown into a Celebratory Mood on Sunday the 9th of July 2023, when the Church celebrated her Men. The ball was set rolling with an Opening Prayer.
Shortly followed by a powerful session of Praise and Worship, ably led by Deacon Charles Igwebuike, Special Number by Bro. Solomon Uwarihu and Message by Pastor Amechi Humphrey.
Other activities that took place included: a powerfully delivered Message by Bro. Solomon Uwarihu. The Highlight of the program was the Presentation of Gifts.
The Men’s Group presented a High Tech Amplifier Mixer to the Church. It was indeed an awesome Celebration laced with Signs and Wonders.
Speaking to the Press, the Chairman of the Men’s Fellowship, Deacon Celestine Ike, said that as the Men of the Church, they are happy celebrating their Day. He described the event as:” Very Very successful. Everything went on very well and everywhere is calm.
There is no problem whatsoever. To God be the Glory!” On what they donated to the Church, he replied:”It is a Mixer Amplifier that was donated to the Church, so that we can use it to evangelise the whole world and let the world know that it is good to serve the Lord.”
On his message to the men, he answered: “I want all the men to cooperate and come together, so that we can achieve our goal.”
On the Theme of the program, he replied:”The Theme is What Men Dislike. What men dislike are many.
Men need our women to come together in time of challenges and difficulties and not to be running here and there simply because there is nothing in the pocket today.”
Advising the women, he said:”They should always be humble to their husbands, no matter what they see, because tomorrow must be better.
Don’t depend on what you see today, because no one can say what tomorrow will bring.” Asked if there is anything in his mind he wants to tell the Church, he answered:”What I want to tell all the men that are not here today is that they should take things easy. Many are not here due to what they are going through, or some financial problems. Even if you don’t have money come.
We need all the men to come together. We are not after money. Even if you don’t have it, we can support you, just open up and we’ll support you.” Giving his words of encouragement, the Presiding Bishop of Holy Ghost New Life International Church, Revd Dr. Ozioma F. Ozoemena stated that he is highly elated and encouraged by the turnout and performance of the Men’s Fellowship.
He expressed his pleasant surprise at all they did and the presentation they made. He advised the men to continue with the business of building their homes and being responsible fathers to their children and loving husbands to their wives.
He called on them to be up and doing and not relent in the discharge of their responsibilities to their families and the society at large. He prayed for more success in all of their activities and endeavours.
