The Anambra state insecurity may be coming to an end soon following the live broadcast made by the Anambra state governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
Soludo, who frowned at the latest development of insecurity in Anambra state, The attacks by unknown gunmen came to a peak after the death of a lawmaker representing the Aguata local government area in the Anambra state house of assembly.
During his speech, Soludo lists different measures to end insecurity in the state.
Soludo stated that on Mondays, no tricycle, motorcycle, or any type of transport bus is permitted to operate in Anambra state in order to halt the activities of gunmen who use those modes of transportation to cause havoc in the state.
The Anambra governor declared a curfew in 7 local government authorities in the state.
Those local government authorities should be seen as the hotbed of the gunmen’s attacks.
He equally said that he may extend it to all of the LGA. The economist warned the town’s village heads to protect their environment to avoid risking sacking.
“We will take over any land from the communities that allows the killers to occupy any part of their land as a camp.”
He said that any hotel that welcomes the activities of unknown gunmen will be confiscated and demolished.
The town’s vigilante group should work with security agents to halt the activities of the unknown gunmen. With the latest development in Anambra, the days of the unknown gunmen are numbered.
