Former Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Adamu Garba II has revealed during an interview with AIT that for the first time in history, prices of commodities are coming down after going up.
He made this known while weighing in on the current economic situation in the country. While speaking during an interview with AIT, Adamu Garba II stated that the current administration is heading towards the right direction and it shouldn’t be distracted.
In his words, he said, “things have to get tough before it will become better. You can see that the President is working because, for the first time in history, prices of commodities are coming down after going up.”
“For the first time, we have seen the dollar go to N1900, and now it’s N1300. This simply means that the Government is doing the right thing, he added.”
While addressing the various political activities going on in the country, Adamu Garba II noted that this is not the time to entertain distractions.
According to him, he said, “you can see Peter Obi going from one place to another and other party members doing what they like. This is not the time for distractions. We should allow Mr. President to focus and do his job.”
