Iran has imposed a stringent condition for nations wishing to utilize the strait of Hormuz freely.

Iran has stated that any Arab or European nation that expels US and Israeli diplomats will gain access to the strait of Hormuz.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced that these nations will enjoy unrestricted passage through the strait of Hormuz starting Tuesday, provided they remove Israeli and US ambassadors from their territories.

As reported by Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB, the IRGC indicated that such countries would possess the “full right and freedom” to navigate the strategic waterway if they cut diplomatic relations with both Israel and the United States.

Numerous vessels remain anchored on either side of the strategic waterway, as oil and shipping markets remain vigilant for any indications that maritime traffic may resume through the narrow corridor.

Approximately one-fifth of the world’s oil and liquefied natural gas typically transits through the strait.
