The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Leader, Nnewi North LGA, Comrade Onwudiwe Amaeze, has debunked the news making the rounds that the Frontline APC Candidate for the forthcoming the Anambra South Senatorial Bye-Election, Chief Dozie Ikedife has stepped down. Speaking with this Reporter in an exclusive interview yesterday, the vibrant and dynamic Youth Leader reacted when asked why the Senatorial Aspirant is stepping down. His words:
“That can’t be true because as the APC Youth Leader in Nnewi North, if Chief Dozie Ikedife is stepping down, I should be among the first to know about it; moreover, as a part and parcel of the Dozie Ikedife Campaign Organization, I should be in the know. We should take cognizance of the fact that he is not the one that primed himself to go. It was the collective decision of the people of Nnewi for him to go and represent them at the Red Chamber. Dozie Ikedife cannot step down.”
On what he is telling the people, he replied:”” I’m telling them that it’s a rumour and a fallacy. Those saying that are the real enemies of progress.
They are the enemies of ORAZULUME Campaign Team. Orazulume is a Rebirth of Ifeanyi Ubah. Orazulume originated from Ifeanyi Ubah and rebirthed in Dozie Ikedife. So, Orazulume cannot step down for anybody.
They know they have the capacity and capability. They have every force that it may require. They cannot step down for anybody. Who will they step down for? Dozie Ikedife is the Only Man standing as far as the Anambra South Senatorial Bye-Election is concerned.”” In conclusion, he said:
“I’m telling the good people of Anambra South to ignore this baseless and wicked rumour. It has no foundation whatsoever.Let all of us focus on supporting Dozie Ikedife, let us focus on supporting APC and let us focus on supporting Anambra South Senatorial District to make the best choice. Dozie Ikedife is on track and still very much in the race.He has everything to make Anambra South great. Thank you.”
