Political activist, Aisha Yesufu has shared her thoughts on the visit former first lady, Patience Jonathan to the incumbent first lady, Oluremi Tinubu.

Bellnews recalls that Dame Jonathan had pledged to support Senator Oluremi to move the country forward and called on other women to follow suit.

She gave the assurance on Wednesday, during a solidarity visit to the first lady at the presidential villa, Abuja.

Jonathan thanked the first lady for how far she has impacted the lives of Nigerian women.

She said it was imperative for her, as a former president’s wife, to also support and encourage Tinubu, on things that would move the nation forward.

Reacting to the visit, Yesufu pointed out that in the past, there were people who were ready to harm others when the former first lady and her husband lost the election.

She subsequently warned Nigerians against getting too emotionally invested in the war of politics and destroying themselves.

Speaking via Twitter, she wrote, “There are people who viciously hate other people and would harm them if they have the opportunity because this woman and her husband were not returned to Aso villa in 2015.

“It is well.

“Like @DeleFarotimi will say,

“Do not die in their war.”
