INNOVATIONS:

WORK WHILE IN SCHOOL INNOVATION

The current educational system in Nigeria today is a complete departure of what education should be.

The main purpose of education is to empower the hands and brain to be creative in proffering individual and societal solutions.

Whereas the creativity components of education is entirely missing in our educational system today, our graduates only come out to be mentally redundant-only useful for the purposes of administrative directives in-line with the educational system that has taught them to “only copy and paste” information just to pass an examination.

Examinations in the educational system today have now become a test of memory and not a test of intelligence, hence the sole aim of the colonial master’s agenda to raise only court clarks/clerical officers, administrative officers, accountants, secretaries, etc who are trained to only carry out directives and not to question the status quo in the society-by challenging their minds to proffer solutions to the several problems in the society has been established in our educational system today without vehement resistance.

The Work While in School initiative is therefore a masterpiece designed to question the status quo, to challenge the minds and intelligence of our people and to spark off creativity in our educational system to the Glory of God.

It outlines curriculum on invention/innovation development and idea creation, positions the hands to requisite skill acquisition in line with the respective courses of study, and challenges the students to embrace virtues/Godly principles that make Principal People of all age and generation.

HOBBIES

Listening to gospel music, deep worship and prayers, reading inspirational books and the Holy bible, logical reasoning, brainstorming, political discuss, youth empowerment/mobilization.

MY CAPABILITY STATEMENT

I am a Professional Social Worker and a Seasoned Technocrat with First Degree, Masters Degree and PhD (in-View) all in social work. I have spent over 12 years of my professional experience in researching the root causes of unemployment in Nigeria and by the special grace of God I have been able to come up with solutions to this hydra-headed problem encapsulated in several job creation/wealth creation initiatives/models I have developed and implemented for various governments, institutions and several organizations all throughout these period of hard work.

All throughout my professional experience I have practically empowered about 30,000 (thirty thousand) youths across Nigeria with skills for wealth creation. Most remarkable are my efforts via my Work While in School Programmes across tertiary institutions in Nigeria and my youth empowerment initiatives which I implemented under the Iwuanyanwu Foundation in partnership with various state governments, remarkably also is the Imo FINTECH Programme for five thousand Imo youths (5000); which I coordinated, that helped in decentralizing the bank sector in Imo State today with many of the beneficiaries now successfully engaged as agents in mobile money business, thus reducing the unemployment ratio in Imo State drastically, etc.

As a special gift from God I am very much equipped with Divine wisdom and the Midas touch for turning around problems into opportunities and unprecedented wealth for various institutions and government bodies I work with; using my innovative ideas/talents, having been professionally trained/mentored as a Professional Social Worker, an innovative Business Development Expert, a very versatile Project Management Expert/Programmes Coordinator and a Seasoned Technocrat to the glory of God.

My work experience can be traced to: The Nigeria Association of Economists, Global Coalition for Sustainable Environment, G Initiative, Iwuanyanwu Foundation, Iwuanyanwu National Ambulance Foundation, South East Entrepreneurship Development Centre/CBN Imo State Study Centre, Imo State Government Committee on Science and Technology Road Map (2020-2030), Work While in School Ventures Ltd, Work While in School Foundation, Abuja Graduate School, El-bethel Global Business School, The Presidency- Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P),etc.
