
The Nigerian Senate has appointed 12 members to work in collaboration with the House of Representatives on the Electoral Act Amendment Bill.
The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, announced the members of the committee on Tuesday during an emergency plenary session.
DAILY POST reports that the group includes Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and Senator Tahir Mungono.
The Senate is holding an emergency plenary session on the contentious amendments to the Electoral Act.
