Archbishop Okafoagu To Celebrate 50 Years Of Gospel Ministry In Grand Style.

Outspoken and erudite man of God, Archbishop (Prof.) Emma David Okafoagu, who is equally the Presiding Archbishop of Masterseed College Of Bishops And Ministers Network Nigeria And USA, as well as General Superintendent of New Covenant Of God Mission, Akaboukwu, Uruagu–Nnewi Anambra, is presently in a celebratory mood. Come Saturday the 28th of June 2025, he will be hosting the creme de la creme of the society to a lavish gathering to commemorate his 50 years of Active Gospel Ministry and to Launch his Autobiography titled: HOLY GHOST FIRE IN HIS TONGUE: 50 Years As God’s Battle Axe.

The event is expected to be Top Notch as many Very Important Personalities including: Dr. Cletus Ibeto (Omekannaya), Chief Chika Okafor, (Chicason)Dr. Innocent Chukwuma (Innoson )and a host of others are billed to be in attendance. The venue is the New Covenant Of God Mission, Near Omatha Factory, Akaboukwu Uruagu Nnewi, Anambra State.

Time is 11:00am. Born on the 4th of October 1948 at Obiagu Uruagu Nnewi, he started his primary school education at St. John The Cross Akwuegbo Uruagu Nnewi and secondary school education at Christ The King College Onitsha.

Years later, he studied Christian Theology at the Cornerstone University Owerri (Onitsha Campus). He also took Courses in Christian Chaplaincy at the Divine Institute of Chaplaincy Corps Int’l Inc. where he served from 2002 to 2015. He was the Chairman/CEO of Asekeibili Industries Ltd. from 1974 to 1983.

He was the Vice Chairman of CAN Nnewi Chapter from 2006 to 2010 and from 2010 to 2014, he was the PRO of PFN Anambra State Chapter. He has received many Awards and Honours including Doctor of Divinity from the Rapha Faith International University College in 2010, Doctor of Philosophy from Egon International Theological College Portharcourt, Rivers State in 2015 and Doctor of Divinity from Zion Ministerial College and Seminary with the United States Chaplain Association in 2006. In 2010, he was Awarded the Distinguished Igbo Citizen Award by the Young Igbo Christian Ministers World wide.

He is presently a Professor of Christian Theology And Management at the Masterseed College Of Bishops and Ministers Network.
