ALEX IFEAGWAZI GIVES OUT DAUGHTER IN A SUPERLATIVE MARRIAGE CEREMONY.

Foremost Civil Engineer and Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers,(Awka Chapter), Ofurumma Engr.Alex Ifeagwazi KSJI on Saturday the 13th of September 2025, gave out his beautiful daughter, Engr.Amarachukwu Mary Agnes in marriage to Mr. Chimuanya Godwin Ogbuokiri from Umuokwaraoha, Ebenese, Umuna, Orlu LGA of Imo State in a splendid and superlative manner.

The ceremony which took a grand bearing with a touch of royalty was top notch.

Apart from the fact that the Inlaws came prepared and fulfilled all the Traditional Requirements, the ceremony witnessed the presence of the creme de la creme of the society.

Among those present were the newly elected Senator Representing Anambra South, Senator Emma Nwachukwu (Onodugo Ukpor), the Commissioner For Environmental, Anambra State,Engr.Felix Odimegwu, former Chairman of Nnewi South LGA, Hon. Iyiegbu Agbaego, Prof. Frank Anaeto, Sir Dennis Ofordeme, Member Representing Nnewi South Constituency Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Akaegbobi Johnbosco, Members Of The Nigerian Society of Engineers, Members of the Knights of St. John International and a host of other highly Distinguished Personalities.

In a brief chat with Pressmen who came to cover the event, High Chief Engr. Ifeagwazi described his daughter as a well brought up girl who attended a Convent School where Reverend Sisters are trained and so is very acquainted with the doctrine and teachings of the Catholic Church. And that she took after him in terms of intelligence by becoming an Engineer like him.

He is confident that his daughter will not disappoint him in her marriage. He expressed his happiness over the success of the ceremony and advised the couple to live in love and unity by never allowing intruders to come into their marital affairs. He believes that since the marriage is built on the Catholic Faith, it will last till eternity.

Engr. Ifeagwazi called on them to make prayers their bedrock as according to him, the family that prays together lives together, he cautioned them not to pray separately. Above all he he advised them to always listen to each other and enjoy a life of conjugal bliss.

Praying for the newly married couple, High Chief Ifeagwazi prayed that their marriage would be fruitful and prosperous.

He also prayed that the hand of God would be upon them for good. Indeed it was a very successful ceremony without the usual furor associated with Traditional Marriage Ceremonies.

The Event ended on a pleasant note without any ugly incident.
