Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has vowed to unravel the perpetrators who attacked the convoy of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, in Enugu-Ukwu in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Bellnewsonline had reported that gunmen attacked Ubah’s convoy at Enugwu-Ukwu community in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, with an unspecified number of police officers feared killed.
The pro-Biafra group condemned the attack, describing it as barbaric and wicked.
IPOB lamented that the attack was strange and has never happened before in the history of Igboland.
IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, disclosed this in a statement entitled: “Attack on Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and his team; act of cowardice, uncultured and unwarranted”,
IPoB vowed that it must unravel the people behind it, as it has swung into action to expose the perpetrators,
Powerful assured that the people of the South-East will laugh at last by the time IPOB unravel and arrests the perpetrators.
He urged Ndigbo not to panic as it is on the trail of the perpetrators and will soon make their identities known.
The statement read: “The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPoB, has condemned in strong terms, the barbaric and wicked attack on Senator Ifeanyi Ubah and other individuals in Enugu Ukwu in Njilkoka Local Government Area, Anambra State, which was said to have claimed the lives of over three Police men and three civilians.”
