The Governor of Imo State who goes by the name of Hope Uzodinma, has said that his business is just to promote the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the South East.
In a recent interview with Politics Today on Channels Television, Governor Uzodinma said that the South East have a large number of APC members who are loyal and obedient to the party, and he (Gov. Uzodinma) dosen’t want to have joint issues with Peter Obi.
In his (Uzodinma) words he said; “My Party is the APC, in which I have a candidate. My focus is on campaigning for the APC. Peter Obi is not a member of the APC, so I don’t want to be in a dispute with him.
“I am confident that the people of Imo State will vote for my party which is the APC.
“When I became the governor in 2021, 99 percent of our major highways were closed, but today the economic roads in Imo have been managed so well, and even the opposition party are praising my efforts.”
