Former African Action Congress (AAC) Presidential Candidate, Omoyele Sowore has knocked former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso over comments where he said his daughter advised him on who to work with.
Bellnews reports that Kwankwaso said his daughter advised him to work with Peter Obi during the 2023 election period.
Kwankwaso revealed this while speaking on Arise TV about politics ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to him, his daughter encouraged him to form an alliance with Obi even before both politicians later joined forces in the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
In reaction, Omoyele Sowore posted on his 𝕏 page, attacking the former Kano governor over the statement. He said if Kwankwaso now depends on his daughter for political direction, then she might be better suited to lead, suggesting that Kwankwaso has lost political strength.
Sowore also accused him of dishonesty and added a strong moral and religious criticism in his post.
He wrote: “Mr. @KwankwasoRM, if your “daughter” now has to tell you who to work for in 2027, then perhaps she, who obviously knows better than you, according to your own postulation, should be the one running for President. Clearly, you have become politically atrophied. Liars shall not make heaven! #AACOurParty.”
