Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu has denied that his country dragged the United States into the ongoing war with Iran.

The Israeli prime minister said there is a “historic” partnership between Israel and the United States.

He stated during a press briefing on Thursday.

‘We have brought our friend the US into a cooperation never seen in history.

“The great teamwork between me and my good friend Trump is something never seen before,” the Prime Minister said.

He said the explanation was needed to clear up what he referred to as the “fake news … that Israel somehow pulled the United States into a conflict with Iran.”

The Israeli leader said, “Does anyone really think that someone can tell President Trump what to do? Come on.”

Netanyahu said that Trump “always makes his decisions based on what he believes is best for America…and for future generations.”

The Israel-United States war against Iran, which is now in its fourth week this weekend, has had a major impact on the global economy as the price of crude oil continues to reach new highs.
