According to a news that was published by the BellNews Online this morning, it was reported that the former governor of Rivers State, Honorable Rotimi Amaechi, who was also the former Minister of Transportation in Nigeria, has said that people were now telling him of the good works he did while he was in office.
In the information that was given, it was made known that the presidential candidate at the APC presidential primary election, made this known last weekend at the 60th birthday celebration of Apostle Eugene Ogu, who happens to be the General Overseer of Abundant Life Evangel Mission.
While he was talking, he said giving out money is not the solution to Nigerians’ problems and that the solution is that everyone in the country must all rise.
He said, when he was giving out contracts and money, they said he was not a good man and now that he is no longer in office, he is now a saint.
Further talking, he said people were now saying that when he was in office as the governor, insecurity was not this bad in Rivers State.
He said, “Remember, I was always in the bushes chasing those criminals whenever they kidnap people.
When you kidnap, I will come and look for you. I will call the security heads, we go into the bush together and we must recover the man you’ve kidnapped. Now kidnapping is natural. Nobody cares.
When you marry two wives, you know that the first one is better,” says Rotimi Amaechi.
