The former Governor of Anambra State and the presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, Mr Peter Obi, on Monday, gave reasons why he can not work with the former Vice-president of Nigeria and the presidential candidate of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
Last week Friday, the former Vice-president in an exclusive interview with Arise TV on said the Labour Party and its presidential candidate cannot perform any miracle in the 2023 presidential election.
The PDP flag bearer explained that despite the social media sensation and acceptability of the ex-governor’s candidacy, the reality remains that the Labour Party does not have people in government nor the National Assembly.
However, speaking on Channels Television during a programme tagged ‘Politics Today’, the ex-governor said he is in the contest to win when asked about the possibility of him working with the PDP flag bearer again.
The presidential candidate also said that he has all it takes to win.
According to him, nobody goes into a match thinking of what will happen, adding that everybody is going into it to win.
