Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara and some politicians attended the Glory Reign 2026 programme held at the headquarters of Salvation Ministries in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
The program was hosted by the Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyomie.
The governor was accompanied by a former member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja, and Chief Theodore Georgewill.
Also present at the event is the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, alongside other dignitaries and worshippers from within and outside the state.
Delivering a sermon titled “Securing God’s Help Through Your Mind,” Pastor Ibiyomie urged the congregation to renew their minds, describing the mind as the control centre of human actions and decisions.
“The battle of life is in the mind, and it must be adequately guarded,” he said.
He identified key ways of exercising the mind to attract divine help, including the acquisition of knowledge, meditation, disciplined thinking, creativity, studying, positive reasoning, and speaking positively over one’s mind.
The Glory Reign programme is an annual gathering that attracts large numbers of worshippers for prayer, teaching, and spiritual renewal.
