Reality TV star Phyna, was involved in a heated confrontation with a police officer after her car was stopped on a Nigerian road.
Bellnews reports that the incident happened in the middle of the road, where Phyna questioned the legality of the stop, insisting that police officers should not randomly block vehicles without proper procedure.
She expressed shock, saying she had never seen police officers stop cars in such a manner and argued that officers are meant to park properly before carrying out checks.
During the exchange, Phyna made it clear that she was a public figure and challenged the officer over his conduct, demanding to know why she was being stopped.
She repeatedly stated that the situation was wrong and unacceptable, calling for senior police authorities to be contacted to confirm whether such actions were allowed.
The reality star mentioned plans to reach out to police command officials and other senior contacts to report the incident.
She warned her driver not to engage physically with the officers while continuing to voice her anger over what she described as unprofessional behaviour.
She said: “Oga I am a celebrity, how dare you stop me and say what you said?
“In the middle of the road, Nigeria police will now stop and just select a random car and stop the car just like that. I’ve never heard about it in my life.
“You need police to park on the road and stop. You’re not allowed to stop like this.”
