HECHARENA FOUNDATION, a Foundation founded by Amb. Chief Lady Vera Ifenyinwa Ikokwu JP, to cater and take care of the welfare and well-being of the elderly and vulnerable members of the society is set to honour Eminent Elder Statesman, Chief Dr. Simon Nsubundu Okeke OON OFR LL.D, as he clocks 90.
The ceremony comes up on the 7th of January 2026, at the Super Royal Hotel, Amichi, Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State.In a Release issued from the Office of the Founder/President, it stated that the Award is in Appreciation of his many years of excellent service to God and humanity, especially to the widows, the elderly and vulnerable members of the society.
The Founder who is a UNITED NATIONS Ambassador For World Peace, is based in Tennessee, USA, but will be ably represented on that day by the immediate past Commissioner for Women Affairs, Anambra State Government, Hon. (Mrs.) Bridget Obi.
The occasion will also be an opportunity to notify him of the Foundation’s intention to install him As A PATRON in a colourful ceremony which will take place during the Easter period of 2026.
