No fewer than 10 persons are feared dead following a fatal road crash along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, near the Soka area in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Eyewitnesses at the scene described the incident as one of the worst crashes witnessed in recent times, with mutilated bodies being pulled from the wreckage as of press time.
“The crash happened at high speed, and the impact of the collision left several victims trapped inside the crushed vehicles.
Some were confirmed dead on the spot, while others sustained varying degrees of injuries,” a source told PUNCH.
It was also confirmed that emergency rescue operations were ongoing, with responders working to clear the wreckage and recover more victims.
