Segun Sowunmi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said that the future of Nigeria lies in the hands of Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party’s.
Sowunmi, a former spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign described Obi as the only authentic presidential candidate Nigeria has for the 2027 election. He also said Obi is not fake but real.
In a statement signed by Ibrahim Umar, the spokesperson for POMR, Sowunmi said Obi is eager and quite restless to see Nigeria work.
According to him, anywhere you see Obi, he is out seeking ways to solve Nigeria’s problems.
Sowunmi said: “You know I am of the PDP but the future of Nigeria is in Peter Obi. He is the only authentic candidate all the others are fake.
“I am very uncomfortable that we are busy passing the batten between the North and the South West, leaving the very critical section of the country, the Igbo, even when they have Obi, who is the future.”
