Joe Igbokwe, a Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Drainage and Water Resources, has revealed that without Lagos State, he would have been a native doctor in Aba.
Joe disclosed this in a post on his official Facebook account today.
Recall that for a long time, there has been a debate on whether the southeast people played a role in the development of Lagos or not. While most people believed that Lagos is already a developed city even before the arrival of the Igbo people, others argued that it was the southeast people that developed Lagos after they established their businesses in the city.
In a post on his official Facebook account, Joe revealed that a lot of people from the southeast came to Lagos with nylon bags, however, they go back to the Igboland with Rolls Royce. He stated that if not for Lagos, people like him would be native doctors in Aba, looking for lizards they can use as sacrifices.
He added that those praying for the destruction of Lagos should stop because if Lagos is damaged, it will affect everyone.
